Microsoft created its own dual-screen Surface Neo device. It runs a new Windows 10X operating system that’s an extension of Windows 10 and designed exclusively for dual-screen and foldable hardware. Like most Surface devices, there’s an intricate hinge that allows the Surface Neo to switch into a variety of modes, and the typical high build quality you’d expect from Microsoft’s hardware.
Potential is the word I would use and I would love to see more devices similar to this appearing.

Looks very interesting. I noticed that they said the keyboard could be placed where you want it so you could have a touch pad below and touch bar above. Hopefully with adjustable pressure so as to avoid accidental presses.
