The Leica Sofort is a £215 camera from Leica. Yes, that is extremely cheap for a camera with the famous red logo on it, but it is also merely an instant camera which is somewhat similar to the FUJIFILM Instax Mini 8 (£65) and the POLAROID Snap (£90).
For the extra money you get the ability to shoot photos using the following settings
Party and People
Sport and Action
and control over focusing distance and brightness.
This is all quite impressive for an instant camera and you do get the Leica badge and Fujifilm Instax Mini film compatibility, but I’m struggling to see the value in the extra cost. To me, instant cameras are somewhat of a novelty and the price here feels just a little too serious.
