The DW-5600JV-7 Joshua Vides collaboration

Casio is back with a strange collaboration again, this time thanks to Joshua Vides. At £139 it is well priced when you consider that the standard version of the legendary DW series is similarly priced and you do get a crazy design that looks over the top yet is subtle when on the wrist.

As you can see above, the attention to detail throughout is very impressive with no straight lines anywhere.

The screen tech is not great and I would like to see the newer displays used, but in daily use it will suffice and there is always the backlight if conditions are too dim. The backlight has a traffic cone in it when lit which I am presuming is Joshua related.

The glossy look adds something as well to the overall feel. It really is hard to criticise.

Yeah, it’s a sweet novelty for the price and is Casio’s current bestseller. I suspect this will go out of stock quite often.
