The Supreme Court has ruled that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex, in a decision which could have far-reaching implications for who can access single-sex services and spaces.

If you went back only 10 years, it would be hard to believe that such a ruling would be needed. That in itself does not have bearing on any of this and it is a very difficult area to comment on, but I suspect the majority will feel that this ruling makes perfect sense.

Personally, I feel that safe places for women are very important and I don’t believe that a trans woman should be classified as a woman in all aspects such as sports and especially safe spaces. This is not a political view at all, it is simply how I feel.
