This question is going around Twitter at the moment and it made me remember my Sony CM-R111 (below) which I bought in the early 90’s. My wife bought a Sony CM-H333 (above) at the same time and they were sooooooooo expensive to use.

I can’t remember the brand and I don’t have a picture, but I know I purchased it in January 2001. It was pretty basic, but it was pocket-able. Wow. Just thinking about how far we’ve come.
