Apple warns coronavirus has caused shortages

The iPhone maker is one of the America’s biggest tech giants – but Apple’s gadgets and parts come via China.

China currently has the highest rate of COVID-19 infection globally, with more than 80,000 cases to date.

Factories in China have been forced to shut down and international travel has been limited, creating a major headache for Apple.

Now Bloomberg reports that people with broken iPhones hoping for a replacement could be waiting up to a month… More here.

In the grand scheme of things a lack of iPhones is hardly important, but it is an indicator of how things could be about to change.

We may be leading more solitary lives for the next few months, we may be changing what we view as important in our lives and with that will likely come lesser spending on products we do not truly need. iPhones, luxury watches, expensive clothes and so much more will fall within that. Times could be about to change in more ways than we ever expected.
