In what has become an annual tradition at HODINKEE, we’re excited to announce our latest take on Swatch’s modern classic, the mechanical SISTEM51. For the third year in a row, we worked with the Swiss brand to produce a timepiece that is fun, affordable, and highlights the company’s key role in the revival of the Swiss watch industry. The fact that it also contains the SISTEM51 movement, one of the most interesting mechanical developments in the watchmaking world this past decade, ends up as a pretty great bonus.
