  1. Also think about who’s watching and what they might do with innocent inquiries. For example, let’s say that I’m curious about how something works, something that’s considered dangerous or unlawful or even terrorist. As far as I’m concerned, knowledge and understanding are important. But if I have a concentrated search pattern over a period of days, in other words, when I have the time to be curious, it might trigger some organization’s alarm. This is an area where once you’re under suspicion, it’s almost impossible to get out from under. The organization that raised the alarm will always monitor you.

    And if you think I’m over reacting, just ask those who are wrongly on the various no-fly or border watch lists.
