A survey of Canadian Millennials. I imagine it’s pretty much the same worldwide. And it’ll be more so for later Generations.

That got me looking at what the various generations are and found this:

And after Generation Z comes Generation Alpha. Apparently they’ll start using letters from the Greek alphabet. So I’m an early baby boomer. My son is an early millenial. And my grandchildren are Generation Alpha.

And I also found this although the predictions seem pretty obvious. It will be interesting to see how numbers 4 and 5 play out. Seems to me that they’re somewhat opposed.

They will be the more entrepreneurial generation. Every generation from here on out will become more entrepreneurial than the next because they will have had more access to information, people and resources earlier in the life. We will see a lot of Alpha entrepreneurs starting companies before ten years old. As most will fail in their business pursuits, they will learn a lot and have much better luck as they get older. They will be more successful entrepreneurs because they will have had taken more risks earlier and had time to build reputations and relationships before millennials, Gen X’s and boomers did.

We have a habit of looking at the next generation and seeing them as somehow lesser and not as wise. The fact is that they are always more enlightened as each generation passes, and that will continue to be the case. Spend some time among them and you will see that this is the case.
