I got the opportunity to try the Apple Watch series 11 for a week and even though I am not the target audience any more I have been more than surprised by the improvements.
The last Apple Watch I owned was an Ultra 2 and before that a series 8 watch so I have been out of the standard Apple Watch game for a while.

The battery life is much better than I remember. Still way below the Ultra and most other smartwatches, but for an Apple Watch a day of exercise should no longer be a concern.
The depth of the watch is noticeable now, in a good way. It is slim and feels like a well crafted slab of tech on the wrist. This is the most impressive aspect for me.
And finally, the one I tested was Space Grey, a variant I had not tried before. It looks like titanium and much classier than the standard silver aluminium which I used to go for.
Thanks to the size and colour the series 11 finally feels like a watch, and a pretty decent one at that. Colour me surprised.

I’m surprised you like it! I’m still not wearing a watch.

Just the changes surprised me. Guess it’s not all specs that count
