I had just shy of 100GB of available storage before I installed the public beta yesterday- almost 70GB lost overnight. This issue of System Data taking up a lot of space is not new, but I didn’t expect it to happen yet again.
Battery performance on my 16 Pro Max is poor, approx half of what I had before.

Liquid Glass looks decent in the marketing shots, but on an iPhone it makes things harder to use and, dare I say it, looks a little childish. I cannot see an advantage in it at all, but about 10% of me likes it. Maybe that will grow over time.

Look at the top bar. I was on a call with my wife and it highlights just one example of how important information can get lost in iOS 26. I am struggling to see certain data points that have never been a problem in the past.
I like the spatial effect on the Home Screen and when it is added to photos, the new calling features are pretty good, but things like backgrounds in Messages and so much else of the new stuff is just one layer deep.
Maybe it will get better, the bugs will certainly go, but if I am honest it’s probably worse than the previous version. Change is good unless it’s done merely for the sake of change.
