I went to an antiques fair a while back and picked up a couple of watches. The above watch, a Seiko 7625-1990 if you must know, is from 1965 and cost me £40.
It runs very well and looks stunning on my 7.5″ wrist which is unusual for a watch from so far back when they were mostly very small by today’s standards.
It made me realise that I don’t need an expensive big branded watch on my wrist. For £40 I got history, style and a warmth that no new model could offer. It also goes to show that there is no object available from 60 years ago that can still perform a vital task as completely as a vintage watch.

Nice!
