The Vetra Orbit One

The conceptual ‘Vetra Orbit One’ smartwatch has been designed by Vladimir Dubrovin as a minimalist take on wearable devices that aims to provide users with all the essential capabilities in a decidedly subtle way.

The wearable puts an E-Ink display in focus that could have the device mistaken for a digital watch, but hides advanced technologies behind it including heart rate monitoring and more. The smartwatch also boasts artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities built-in that will work diligently to adapt the device to your specific daily routine, habits and activities levels… More here.

This concept is everything I hate about watch design; too square, too blocky and no style whatsoever. However, the e-ink screen makes all the sense in the world for a wrist worn device. It really does.
