Toshiba has announced a new record player designed for vinyl enthusiasts who want to make their analog music collections more portable. The Aurex AX-RP10 is by no means pocket-friendly like Sony’s Walkman or Apple’s iPod, but it’s small enough to haul around in an included shoulder bag while still accommodating 12-inch records, and it can be used completely wirelessly thanks to a built-in USB-C charged battery… More here.

I like it when big companies still try to make products that are somewhat novel even though they will not have a big market. The problem here is that the beauty of the vinyl sound will be lost through Bluetooth and as such the portability remains still far too big to offer any real advantage.
