The step counter is the same one found in the ABL-100WE-1BEF, which I reviewed here, but you really can take this watch anywhere. It’s super tough, super water resistant and you can even drive a car over it.

You do not have to charge it, change the battery yourself every 2 years and you are all set, and it is also light and comfortable. It is a little high on the wrist at 15mm, but the strap is perfect for the case and it never loses placement. Also, the text is very clear thanks to the new display tech Casio is using.

Seriously, if you want a basic fitness tracker in a watch that really can cope with anything this is the watch to get. It’s awesome and it keeps perfect time thanks to the Bluetooth connection to your phone.
