I have pondered this and do think that it is a positive move. It could backfire and cause a sudden drop in activity, but in the long run it should cure a few of the problems that have plagued the service.

I find this really odd. So the only means of interaction will be comments, I guess. It kind of defeats part of the social aspect of the service.

Wait, so it’s just the count of likes that disappears? I’m okay with that, I think. I sometimes find it strange that people like one of my posts more than others anyway. To each his own.

I like that they are hidden. May help with bullying and things like that and may change how people use the service
