Not sure if this is a good idea or not. Guess it will all be down to how well it works.

I don’t see the attraction, given the differences in the way one holds a tablet / phone and a computer. I’d have to keep holding my arms out to touch the screen, and that wouldn’t be comfortable for long.
For launching software or tapping menu buttons, I tend to use a keyboard shortcut, or the trackpad is fine, so not sure I feel like I’m missing anything here.
