I love a good crowd funded project.
Two problems happen though:
1. They often have a great idea and a brilliant implementation. They are not great businessmen though, so don’t often deliver.
2. A bigger company will often take the idea, copy it and sell it a lot cheaper. Chinese websites are already full of copies and USB C accessories.
