A slow news day so I shall pose a question instead which will help other readers understand who you are. Who are you?
I’m Shaun, I work in fixed line and mobile telecoms, I also write for a couple of tech magazines, 2 kids, 1 wife and I live in the UK. I have a passion for watches, especially Seiko and Bulova, and I enjoy mobile tech when it is designed in a considered and meaningful way.

I’m Bob. I’m retired but I used to be a software product manager. I’m married and live about 1/2 hour south of Ottawa, Canada’s capital. We have 12 cats and 4 dogs. We have a big fenced in back yard. I’m catching up on the things I didn’t have time for while I was working – photography, music, genealogy, role playing games, and anything else that peaks my curiosity. I’m a Mac person, although I run Windows in Boot Camp to play games. I’ve been following mobile tech and Shaun since my Palm days.

Maybe it’s bad ask this on a weekend, I’d be surprised if more people here don’t like talking about themselves 😉
I’m Kirk, in my low-40s, I’ve lived in the Boston suburbs ever since college.
I play tuba with honk bands and I like coding for fun and profit (the day job)
My daily blog has been around since 2000 – http://kirk.is/ and some of my coding on comics are at http://alienbill.com/
I ran into Shaun’s “How did we get to the iPhone”, and while I was always more of a Palm guy than a Psionist, and I never wear watches, I think we have a lot of parallels in how we approach tech.

I’m Vince. I was born in Holland, immigrated to NZ with my family when I was twelve. I’m 45 and a trained primary school teacher. I’ve lived in the UK for three years and back in NZ I met and separated from a Spanish woman, that’s how I ended up in Spain with two kids. Here I work as an English teacher at a private school, and I give private classes after my day job to pay for the divorce. I live with my girlfriend and a dog. I have always loved gadgets. First I had electronic diaries until my brother came home with a Psion 3C and when I got my first pay cheque I immediately got one. Later I got a Palm, tried Windows Mobile and everything. My first laptop was an Apple, but when I moved to Spain I found Apple too expensive to maintain (in NZ my school gave me all the latest!) and switched to Windows. Now I use mainly Android.

I have worked with one particular ERP software for over 25 years, which has become more of a liability. I allow myself one new toy a year, usually a camera, cell phone or tablet. Married for 33 years with no children. Only 2 cats but we do foster rescue cats for the local shelter. Have classical training in music and play multiple instruments in a variety of genres.
