I’d like to see people’s lock screens- a concept not prevalent in the PDA time. (hm- they were less timepiece-ish then? But also remember that Palm with a peekaboo cutout for the time?) Kirk.

well that lock screen i mentioned is starkly black and white, so the black background fits 😉
part of it was the switch to the tighter homescreen of the SE – I wanted to be more free of visual distraction, and I’d say pure black really makes the icons pop
