I just received a notification that I can now try Monzo by topping up £100 to get started and despite some reservations, I am prepared to give it a try.
The idea is not exactly new when it comes to managing money, but it could serve as a bridge between me and my bank account. If, for example, I put £200 on the Monzo card and only use that for fuel and spending during the month, I could sort of leave the bank account alone.
It offers a way to see spending in a more simplistic form and to have a target to aim for, a low target. It’s, as I said, not revolutionary, but I can see something in this that may prove to be highly beneficial for many people. What do you think?
